Dress

Dress for the conference is business casual. You may want to bring a sweater or jacket, as conference rooms sometimes get cold.

Thursday night banquet is nice church dress.

Tote Bags

This year the Tote Bags for our Conference will once again be donated by Becky Moyer at  Insurance One/Moyer & Moyer. We appreciate Becky and her company providing these for us!

Door Prizes

If you or your State want to provide a Door Prize that would be great!  We ask that each Door Prize have a value of at least $25. Thank you! You can bring them to the registration desk anytime on Wednesday. The more we receive, the better the chances of going home with a prize!

Parade of States Carnival

Parade of States Carnival-Wednesday night.

We are asking each state that is coming to the conference to have a carnival type game and a giveaway for everyone (tables will be provided). Get the ministry assistants from your state together for this night of fun! If your state will not be represented at the conference, you can still show your state pride by sending a giveaway that can be handed out to attendees. Contact Heather Beard at namapublicity@gmail.com to arrange delivery.

COVID Precautions

Some precautions that Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and your NAMA Board of Directors are taking:

Meals:

  • Buffets will be served by staff members from a protected area

  • All beverages will be individually wrapped or served by an attendant from a protected area following CDC Covid-19 Guidelines

  • Plates will be cleared by servers.

  • Servers will wear masks and keep 6’ social distancing when possible

  • Guests will be required to wear masks until seated and any time they leave the table.

Conference Attendees and leaders:

  • All conference attendees, NAMA Board Members, and conference leaders are asked to wear masks. Masks can be taken off, if you are by yourself or when eating.

Breakout Sessions:

  • We ask that all conference attendees sign up ahead of time for breakout sessions. This will help us set the classrooms up to accommodate social distancing.

Parade of States

  • It would be good to have games where you can wipe down in between players

  • Prizes and/or gifts should be in individual bags and handed out to participants

  • Whoever is handing out things, it would be a good idea to wear gloves

  • Have hand sanitizer available

Riley Center Staff:

  • Wellness check completed prior to starting work

  • Regular hand washing (at least hourly)

  • Properly wearing required personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, aprons, etc)

  • Wearing gloves when appropriate and changing often

  • Maintaining 6’ Social Distancing when possible and limiting contact.

  • Placing protective barriers where needed

  • Cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting all high touch surfaces, preparation areas, transport areas and equipment (carts, vehicles, containers) frequently
